About The Author: Kimberly N. Bess (Bechira) is a 48-year-old rededicated Christian. Although she spent most of her life in church, she realized that she had only been occupying space and that her relationship with God was surface level at best. Kimberly began to re-evaluate her approach to life and the teachings she had received. Not only did she take a hiatus from the building called church, but she also let God become her teacher not man.
